THE COURSE.
Contemporary Imaginaries is a training course dedicated to digital creativity and visual production with artificial intelligence, designed for young unemployed people, professionals in the process of upgrading and people seeking re-employment. The course takes students from the basics of visual culture to the advanced use of generative AI, integrating technical skills, creative design and critical thinking. Alongside hands-on labs, the program covers fundamental topics such as the history of new media, ethics of artificial intelligence, copyright, and responsibility in the use of images, training professionals who are knowledgeable, creative, and prepared to meet the challenges of contemporary visual production.
Social impact and responsibility
The school promotes a conscious and responsible vision of contemporary visual production, investing in a new critical culture of the image through a series of activities aimed at a wide audience, such as schools, young professionals, and professionals who wish to update themselves. Technologies and artificial intelligence are approached not as a threat, but as tools to be understood and used creatively, ethically and consciously, within an open approach to innovation and the languages of contemporary visual culture.

At Bright Festival 2026 in Florence, April 19 at 2 p.m., Manuel Zini presents a seminar dedicated to the integration of artificial intelligence and photographic practice.
In the age of the prompt, those who can read the world are more valuable than those who know the parameters. We will discuss this on Saturday, April 11, with Lorenzo Colloreta a full-time consultant and trainer for photographers, graphic designers and printers
June 20, 2026 – Presentation of IMMAGINARIES CONTEMPORARY the new educational project, supported by Fondazione CR Firenze. Followed by an intensive workshop led by Manuel Zini.
