Martino Marangoni studied at the Pratt Institute in New York. From 1977 to 1993, he was a photography instructor at the Studio Arts Center International in Florence.
In 1991, he founded the Fondazione Studio Marangoni: Iniziative di Fotografia Contemporanea, of which he is the president.
Since then, Marangoni has combined his personal research with the promotion of photographic culture internationally through educational and exhibition activities, as well as the awarding of prizes.
His work has been exhibited both in Italy and abroad in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
