After graduating in Art History from the University of Florence, she moved to London to study Fine Arts.
Today Margherita Abbozzo, in addition to painting, writes about contemporary art and photography for Italian and international publications.
She teaches Contemporary Photography and History of Fashion Photography at IED Florence and Studio Marangoni.
