
Born in 1979 in Florence, he worked as a designer in an architectural firm before graduating from the three-year photography course at Fondazione Studio Marangoni in 2007.
From 2005 to 2007, he attended Guido Guidi’s classes at the Academy of Arts in Ravenna and IUAV in Venice as an auditor.
In 2007 his work was selected for the Italian Atlas 007 – Landscape Risk held by the Maxxi in Rome.
In 2013 his first book, How does it feel to leave the most beautiful city in the world? a collaboration with writer Olufemi Terry, was self-published with Documentary Platform editions.
In 2014 he was invited to be part of the artist residency with Osservatorio Fotografico, as part of the project Where we live, in Ravenna.
In the same year, the book – RUGBY – designed by Emilio Macchia was published.
