Gabriele Galasso was born in 1995 in Gubbio, Umbria, to a family from Campania.
He graduated from the DAMS cinema program at the Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna and, following his passion for art, realized that his artistic expression came through the medium of photography.
He enrolled in the two-year course in photography at Spazio Labo’ and, upon completion, joined the team initially as a course and master’s assistant and later as a lecturer in digital and analog photography courses.
His photographic interest is particularly directed toward personal artistic research while doing commissioned work for brands, companies and events.
He also designs educational programs aimed at young children, tools to raise awareness of childhood and adolescence in the language of photography through hands-on, experiential workshops and basics of photography.
He currently lives and works in Florence, where he collaborates with Studio Marangoni and others.
