In this Basic Photography Course you can delve into the main aspects of photography, regardless of your level of experience. Starting with the basics, the course is accessible even to those new to digital photography, and then develops along a path that covers a wide range of topics, from digital techniques to photographic language.

An important part of the course is its focus on lighting techniques, both in the studio and outdoors. Lighting issues will be addressed through hands-on exercises with professional equipment, allowing you to directly experience natural and artificial lighting. This hands-on approach not only facilitates learning, but also allows you to gain a deeper and more applicable understanding of photographic techniques.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop personal photography projects. This experience is essential to consolidate the skills you have learned and to explore your own photographic style. Your projects will be discussed in class with faculty and peers, providing a valuable opportunity to receive personalized and constructive feedback.

The Basic Photography Course not only provides you with a solid theoretical and practical foundation, but also encourages you in your personal and creative growth, preparing you to face the world of photography with competence and confidence.

The Basic Photography Course is suitable for those with no previous experience; there are no entry requirements to enroll in this course.

Course Details.

The Basic Photography course teaches you how to use cameras and camera equipment, understanding their functions and controls. This skill will enable you to easily adapt to any device, professional camera or smartphone, taking full advantage of its potential to get high-quality shots.

You will acquire the technical skills needed to work with RAW files, which are essential for gaining maximum control over image post-production, using professional software to improve the final quality of photographs.

The course will provide you with a solid theoretical and practical foundation that will enable you to successfully tackle advanced level courses through a thorough understanding of the principles of photography and basic techniques.

The course is held in-person on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m.

The course program includes shooting activities in the photo studio, post-production workshops, theoretical lectures on photography, and review of photo projects.
