This intensive summer course, dedicated to young people aged 12 to 17, focuses on portrait photography and has a twofold objective: on the one hand, to convey the technical basics of photography, and on the other, to stimulate reflection on personal identity and how we perceive ourselves and others.
The practice of photographic portraiture fosters a relationship and connection between the photographer and the subject, creating a space for visual and human dialogue. Self-portraiture, on the other hand, is a powerful tool for introspection: when done with awareness, it prompts questions about how we see ourselves and how we wish to be perceived by others.
Through a creative and technical journey, the workshop invites participants to explore themes of empathy, authenticity and awareness, using photography as a means to tell personal and collective stories.e.
The goal of the course will be the creation of a collective project to be defined and developed during the workshop.
